Robyn Johnson and Wendy Riffel raise Scottish highland cattle in Plummer, Idaho, in the Idaho panhandle near Coeur d’Alene. They have bred these hardy cattle for more than a decade and maintain membership in the American Highland Cattle Association, with annual health screenings for common genetic conditions. They emphasize low-stress handling and pasture-based nutrition to support health and longevity.
