Anderson Boer Goat Acres - SBA1, Savanna goats in rural Kansas near Wichita, KS, has been breeding robust meat goats since 2012. Sheila Anderson follows American Goat Society guidelines and is an active member of the Kansas Livestock Association, working with a licensed veterinarian to ensure routine health screening, parasite control and hoof care.

Kids are born in a straw-bedded kidding barn and then moved to rotational pastures with daily handling to encourage gentle temperaments and social adaptability. The farm’s rolling pastures and shaded shelters provide natural ventilation and clean water access, reducing stress and supporting steady growth. Each buck undergoes regular testing for CAE and clostridial vaccines, and does receive CD&T boosters before breeding season.

Select breeding stock are evaluated for structural soundness and doe productivity to maintain strong maternal instincts and consistent weight gain. This family-run operation combines sustainable land stewardship with hands-on care to raise healthy Savanna goats suited for small farms and homesteads.
