Diamond Family Ranch

Diamond Family Ranch, fainting (myotonic) goats, West Warren, UT, in Weber County and the Wasatch Front near Ogden. The ranch is run by Alex Diamond, who has been raising fainting goats for over a decade and holds membership in the American Goat Society. All breeding stock undergoes regular health screenings including genetic testing for myotonia and routine hoof trims.

Kids are born and raised in a pasture-based environment where they can graze freely and socialize with family dogs and local livestock. Their daily routine includes gentle handling to encourage calm temperaments and early exposure to farm life. Visitors often comment on the goats’ friendly nature and sturdy build, reflecting the farm’s commitment to proper nutrition and stress-free management.

The operation began as a small homestead project and has since grown into a demonstration of sustainable land management with rotational grazing. Alex’s introduction to fainting goats came from a neighbor’s farm, and that early experience inspired a commitment to preserving heritage bloodlines.
