Fetterly's Oakside Farm

Fetterly’s Oakside Farm breeds Hereford cattle in Spring Valley, MN in southeastern Minnesota near Rochester. It has been raising cattle for more than two decades and holds memberships with the American Hereford Association and state livestock groups.

The herd lives in open pastures with regular access to fresh water, shade, and shelter and calves spend time near the farmhouse for easy monitoring. Their approach focuses on low stress handling and gradual introduction to handling routines which helps animals stay calm and build trust with caregivers. Many of their cattle have earned recognition at county fairs and some have pedigree lines traced to longstanding family records on the farm.

Every breeding animal is evaluated for genetic health markers including eye and muscle conditions to support herd vitality over time. The farm is family owned and operated with a focus on transparency and respect for farming tradition.
