Fluff Butte Farm raises Tunis sheep in Athens, Alabama, in Limestone County and north Alabama near Huntsville. Justin and Jessica Vanhoozer have dedicated more than ten years to selective Tunis sheep breeding, participating in national registry programs and working with local veterinarians on genetic health, yearly foot inspections, and parasite control.

The flock grazes on rotational pastures that encourage natural foraging, with regular access to a timber barn for shelter, clean bedding, and mineral supplementation. Lambs are raised alongside family members and gentle guardian dogs, helping them develop resilience and social skills before they join the main pasture rotation. At regional agricultural events, their sheep are noted for even temperament and sturdy frame, reflecting the farm’s steady breeding goals and careful record keeping.
