Harovah Ranch

Harovah Ranch is a family-run llama breeder in Silt, Colorado, in western Colorado near Glenwood Springs. They have more than a decade of experience with llamas, and Matt Horowitz is an active member of national alpaca and llama associations. All animals undergo routine health screening and receive daily turnout on open pasture.

Animals at the ranch are raised with gentle handling and early socialization alongside family members and other livestock, creating calm and well-adjusted companions. The ranch’s focus on low-stress management and spacious paddocks ensures llamas thrive in natural herd settings. Many clients remark on the animals’ friendly dispositions and sturdy builds.

Set on 50 acres of rolling pasture, the herd benefits from carefully managed grazing rotations and access to shelter barns during weather extremes. Routine hoof trimming and dental checks are part of the care regimen, supporting long-term well-being.
