Junior Member is a breeder of Leicester longwool sheep in Elk, WA, Spokane County and the Inland Northwest near Spokane. The operation follows guidelines from national sheep associations and uses routine health testing for common flock concerns, including hoof care and parasite management. Several years of breeding experience is reflected in consistently strong wool production and healthy lambs.

Animals graze on rotational pastures around North Jefferson Road, with daily health checks and early socialization to create calm, well-adjusted animals. Breeder philosophy emphasizes pasture-based management and close attention to individual needs. Lambing takes place each spring in a sheltered barn with close oversight, ensuring strong starts for newborns. Flock records track lineage and grazing performance to support traditional meat and fiber traits valued by small-scale farmers and hand-spinners. During winter the flock receives supplementary hay and has access to a heated barn to maintain health in colder months.
