Lawsonsrock

Lawsonsrock, mini LaMancha and Nigerian dwarf goats, Mount Vernon, KY, Rockcastle County and the Daniel Boone National Forest near Lexington. It has been nurturing small-heritage goats for over a decade, holds membership in the American Dairy Goat Association and performs routine health testing for CAE, CL and Johne’s disease. Its goats live in a clean, climate-controlled barn with ample pasture, where they receive daily handling to encourage gentle temperaments. Doe kids are bottle-raised alongside family pets, fostering early socialization and curiosity.

Many Lawsonsrock offspring have earned ribbons at local 4-H shows and regional breed showcases, reflecting consistent structure and good conformation. Pedigree records are available for every kid and lifelong support is offered to new owners, ensuring a smooth transition into home herds. It follows sustainable grazing practices and provides a balanced diet of hay, grains and mineral supplements to support milk production and overall well-being. The family-run setup keeps herd size small, allowing personalized attention and clear record-keeping for breeding decisions.
