Liberty Bell Acres

Liberty Bell Acres, Nubian goats, Meridian, ID, is set in Ada County and the Treasure Valley near Boise. The owner, Amanda Recla, has been involved in goat breeding for several years and keeps detailed health records in line with industry guidelines. The farm raises six breeds including Nubian, fainting (myotonic), mini Nubian, mini LaMancha, Nigerian dwarf and pygmy to suit a variety of farm and pet settings.

Kids stay with their mothers and begin socialization through gentle handling and supervised pasture time. Health care includes regular hoof trimming, herd health assessments and routine vaccination schedules. The farm’s pasture rotations and sheltered pens aim to keep goats comfortable year-round and help them develop friendly, curious temperaments. All breeding stock is evaluated for conformation and udder health according to national breed standards. Visits to the farm allow families to meet the herd in a relaxed setting and learn about goat care at their own pace.
