Living Sky Farm

Living Sky Farm raises dual purpose/family cow and a2 genetics cattle in Indian Valley, ID, in Adams County near Boise. Kimberly Thiessen has more than a decade of experience with dual purpose herds, following recommended health screenings and genetic tests to maintain a resilient, healthy group.

In partnership with local extension programs she attends workshops on pasture management and herd health, sharing insights with neighboring farms. Cattle graze on rotational pastures with shelter available at all times, and calves are handled gently from birth to encourage calm temperaments. The farm’s emphasis on a2 genetics supports dairy qualities that many find easier to digest.
