Northern Blue Russian Blues

Northern Blue Russian Blues, Russian Blues in Minnesota in the Upper Midwest near Minneapolis. Stephanie Grady and Mark Balkowitsch have been part of the Russian Blue breed community for more than a decade and maintain membership in the Cat Fanciers’ Association.

Their adults live in a home environment where kittens are socialized from birth around children and other family pets. Each cat is health screened for polycystic kidney disease and progressive retinal atrophy and has regular veterinary exams. Litters are kept small to allow individualized care in a climate-controlled space.

They have exhibited at regional cat shows and earned ribbons that reflect the breed’s signature silver coat and green eyes. New families share stories about the gentle nature of their cats and receive ongoing support from the breeders. They also provide a detailed care guide covering nutrition, enrichment, and grooming to help kittens settle into home life.
