Susan Rossie

Susan Rossie is a breeder of dogs in Oklahoma, the Sooner State near Oklahoma City. Over the past fourteen years she has developed breeding lines with a focus on health and temperament, following American Kennel Club guidelines and conducting all recommended health screenings. She works closely with a local veterinarian to monitor health and maintains active membership in regional and national breed clubs.

Her adult dogs are raised in a family setting where they receive daily social interaction with children and other farm animals. Puppies spend their early weeks indoors with consistent human handling, moving outdoors at five weeks to explore secure pasture under supervision.

At Flower Meadow Farm, Susan combines traditional husbandry on her five-acre property with positive-reinforcement socialization to help each puppy build confidence. Many graduates from her program go on to careers as therapy dogs and beloved family companions.
