Juniper is our soft-spoken herd matriarch, born on the ridge pasture during the wettest spring we can remember. She was the first cria to halter-train in a single afternoon and still leads the girls to the gate every evening.
Her fleece is a dense, crimpy medium fawn that has placed well at three regional shows. We skirt it by hand every May and the hand-spinners who buy it come back every year asking for her by name.
Juniper is gentle with first-time handlers, easy to trim and a calm, attentive mother. We are keeping her in our breeding program, but we are happy to talk about her bloodline with anyone planning a fawn-focused herd.
