Cedar Ridge Farm

Cedar Ridge Farm, Pygora goats, Carbondale, IL, is a small family operation in southern Illinois and the Metro East near St. Louis. Kira Marks has been raising Pygora goats for several years and follows American Pygora Goat Association guidelines for health testing, vaccinations and breed standards. Kids are born on pasture, receive daily handling and are introduced early to gentle social settings with local fiber artists.

Adult goats graze rotationally on mixed grasses and receive regular hoof trimming and veterinary oversight. Fiber is shorn annually and processed on-site through gentle scouring and carding before being shared at regional fiber shows. They maintain clean pens and shaded shelters, aiming to ensure each animal’s well-being across seasons.
