Banded Wood Cockroach
Parcoblatta zebra
The banded wood cockroach, also called the zebra wood roach, is a Parcoblatta from the southeastern and central United States. It has contrasting markings and generally more orange coloration than the related broad wood cockroach. Specialist keepers provide moist organic substrate, woodland cover, ventilation and varied food. Females lay egg cases. Adults climb and males can fly. Captive populations can differ in seasonal needs, so locality and stock history matter.
