Bornean Neon Blue Leg Tarantula

The Bornean neon blue leg tarantula is a burrowing species from Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. Adult females have vivid blue leg hairs, a pale cream carapace and a light brown abdomen; adult males lack the bright blue leg color. It differs from the gray-bodied cobalt blue tarantula, although color alone cannot establish identity. Specialist hobbyists provide a secure, ventilated enclosure with deep diggable substrate, a sheltered burrow and water. Avoid handling. Females lay eggs in silk sacs.
