Sharp Albino
A Sharp albino boa constrictor is an albino-line boa named for the Sharp strain, a separate line from the better-known Kahl albino. Like other albino boas, it lacks normal dark melanin and shows pale cream, yellow, orange, or lavender areas instead of brown and black markings. The important point for breeders is not just the pale look, but the line identity, because Sharp albino and Kahl albino are not treated as interchangeable in breeding plans.
Sharp albino boas are managed with normal boa constrictor husbandry: secure caging, appropriate heat gradients, humidity that supports clean shedding, and careful feeding through a long lifespan. Breeders use Sharp albino in sunglow, snow, ghost, jungle, and other projects where line compatibility affects the expected offspring. Buyers should ask whether the animal is visual Sharp albino, het Sharp albino, or a Sharp-line combination, especially if future breeding is part of the plan.
