Snow
A snow boa constrictor is a combination morph that pairs albino with anerythristic traits, removing much of the dark pigment and the red or orange coloration seen in normal boas. These pale boas may show white, cream, gray, yellow, or soft lavender tones depending on the albino line, anery line, and age. Snow is a foundation combination for further projects, including moonglow when hypo is added.
Care remains the same as for other boas, but pale animals can make husbandry details more visible, including old shed, skin irritation, or minor abrasions. Breeders should identify the albino line and anery line behind a snow because future pairings depend on compatibility and inherited recessives. Buyers interested in breeding should ask whether the snow is Kahl-line, Sharp-line, or otherwise documented; pet keepers can focus more on health, temperament, feeding history, and adult enclosure needs.
