Dragon Li
The Dragon Li, also called Li Hua or Chinese Li Hua, is a Chinese domestic cat breed or natural breed type with a brown mackerel tabby coat and sturdy athletic build. It is usually described as a native Chinese cat rather than a breed shaped around extreme features. The coat has a warm brown ground color with clear striping, and the body remains moderate, muscular, and workmanlike compared with highly stylized show cats.
Dragon Li cats are managed like active domestic shorthairs, with play, climbing space, weight control, and routine veterinary care. Because the breed is uncommon outside China and selected registry circles, buyers should ask about registration, breeder documentation, or import background when those claims matter. A brown tabby shelter cat should not be assumed to be a Dragon Li on color alone. The name is most useful when it reflects documented ancestry and type.
