Thai Lilac Point
Thai Lilac Point describes a Thai-type colorpoint cat whose points are a very pale, pinkish gray lilac rather than seal, chocolate, or blue. The body remains light, the eyes are blue, and the point color may be subtle in young kittens before it develops with age. Because the label combines a breed type with a specific color expression, it is more precise than calling the cat just pointed or lilac.
Breeders working with Thai Lilac Point cats need careful color genetics, parentage records, and clear registry terminology. The color can be hard for casual buyers to distinguish from blue point in poor light, so photographs, adult examples, and breeder explanation are useful. Care is ordinary for a shorthaired social cat: indoor safety, climbing places, interactive play, and routine veterinary care. The real value of the label is accurate identification within Thai-line breeding rather than a different care requirement.
