Chibi Scrub Roach
Eurycotis improcera
The chibi scrub roach is a small Caribbean Eurycotis kept by specialist breeders. Adults are flightless, compact and quick to retreat, spending the day under dry wood and bark. It is associated with warm, seasonally dry island habitats, including Puerto Rico. Colonies need secure climbing-proof containment, dry air, bark shelters and a moist substrate retreat. Females lay egg cases. Its small size distinguishes it from the much larger Florida skunk cockroach.
