Naemorhedus griseus
A stocky goat-antelope of rocky, wooded mountains in China and neighboring parts of India and Myanmar. Its gray to reddish-brown coat has a dark dorsal stripe, pale throat and short backward-curving horns in both sexes. Zoo hoofstock teams provide rocky climbing areas and browse as well as grass. Females usually give birth to one live kid. This is a separate species from the Himalayan goral; Chinese goral is CITES Appendix I listed.
