Patternless
Patternless is a crested gecko morph label for animals that lack the strong dorsal, lateral, or pinstriped patterning seen in many other crested gecko projects. These geckos may be red, orange, yellow, cream, brown, buckskin, or darker shades, but the body reads as relatively clean and even. The label describes pattern level more than a single color, so two patternless geckos can look quite different.
For keepers, patternless crested geckos need the same arboreal setup as other crested geckos: vertical climbing space, moderate humidity cycles, safe perches, and a suitable prepared diet with occasional insects where appropriate. Breeders should photograph animals both fired up and fired down, because color and faint pattern can change with mood, light, and age. Pairing choices often focus on clean body color, structure, and avoiding hidden pattern traits that may reappear in offspring.
