Super Dalmatian
Super dalmatian crested geckos are dalmatian-patterned Correlophus ciliatus with a heavy concentration of spots across the body, head, limbs, and often the tail base if the tail is still present. Spots are usually black, but red, orange, and other colored spots may appear in some lines. There is no official spot-count cutoff that separates dalmatian from super dalmatian; the label is based on the visual impression of dense, obvious spotting, especially on an adult that has finished much of its pattern development.
Spotting can increase as a gecko grows, so juveniles with a few specks may improve while others remain lightly marked. Breeders often pair heavily spotted adults to raise the chance of super dalmatian offspring, but the pattern is variable and should be described honestly in photos. The morph has the same basic care as other crested geckos. Secure vertical cover and moderate temperatures matter more than display lighting, while a complete crested gecko diet, occasional insects, and careful hydration cycles support growth and shedding.
