Maltipoo
A Maltipoo is a Maltese and Poodle cross, usually bred as a small companion dog with a soft coat and a people-focused temperament. Because it is a hybrid rather than a fixed breed, size, coat curl, shedding level, muzzle length, and adult outline can vary widely even within one litter. The name is most useful when the actual parents, generation, and health testing are explained clearly rather than treated as a guarantee of uniform puppies.
Families considering a Maltipoo should be cautious about promises that every puppy will be hypoallergenic, tiny, or identical in behavior. Grooming is still a real commitment, especially in curlier coats that mat close to the skin, and small-dog dental care often needs attention early. Sensible breeders or rescues describe the individual dog, screen Maltese and Poodle-related health risks, and place puppies for temperament, handling needs, and household fit instead of selling the label by itself.
