Eimeo Tree Snail
Partula mooreana
The Eimeo tree snail comes from Moorea in French Polynesia. It has a small, rounded, tapering shell with an expanded adult aperture lip; shell color and pattern are variable. Coordinated zoo colonies support conservation breeding and releases on Moorea. This live-bearing tree snail requires specialist management, including humid, ventilated housing, safe climbing surfaces, strict hygiene and a prepared diet containing calcium.
