Pink Zebra Beauty Tarantula
Eupalaestrus campestratus
The pink zebra beauty tarantula is a terrestrial South American species recorded from Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. Pale leg markings and pinkish hairs give rise to its hobby name. Provide a secure, ventilated ground-level enclosure with substrate for a retreat, a hide and drinking water. Offer appropriately sized insects and avoid excessive climbing height, which can expose a heavy spider to falls. Observe it without handling. Females lay eggs in a silk sac.
