Euscorpius italicus

Euscorpius italicus is a small, dark brown European scorpion with broad pincers, yellow-brown legs and a relatively short, slender tail. It occurs in southern Europe, including Italy, where stone walls, ruins and other sheltered places provide daytime retreats.

Specialist hobbyists keep it in a secure enclosure with bark or stone hides, suitable substrate and access to water. Allow a moisture gradient rather than keeping the entire enclosure saturated. Avoid handling and unnecessary disturbance. Females bear live young.
