Fulvous Wood Cockroach
Parcoblatta fulvescens
The fulvous wood cockroach is a North American Parcoblatta maintained by native-roach enthusiasts and feeder breeders. Adult males are tawny and fully winged; females have short wings and an orange, red and black color pattern. Colonies use ventilated moist substrate, bark and leaf shelters, with varied food. Females lay egg cases. Adults can climb and males can fly, so the enclosure needs a secure lid. Its small adults differ in size from the larger broad wood cockroach.
