Yanguiang Goose
The Yanguiang goose is often treated as the Yangjiang goose in English transliteration, a local Chinese domestic goose from the Yangjiang area of Guangdong Province. It belongs to southern China's farm-goose tradition, where birds have been selected for table production, grazing, and adaptation to warm, wet lowland agriculture. Plumage and size may vary by strain, so the regional name and source flock are more informative than a single show color.
In small farm management, this type needs shade, ventilation, access to drinking and washing water, and a dry place to rest at night, especially in humid weather. Breeders should confirm whether stock is a true Yangjiang or Yanguiang line or mixed Chinese goose, particularly when buying far from Guangdong. Practical selection is usually for strong legs, fast early growth, hatchability, and parent birds that hold condition through the laying season.
