Jungle
Jungle leopard geckos are pattern morphs of the leopard gecko, Eublepharis macularius, recognized for irregular bands, broken body markings, and a less orderly look than classic banded or striped animals. The label is usually applied to pattern rather than color, so jungle animals may also carry albino, tangerine, snow, or other traits. Good examples have a busy, uneven arrangement of dark and light markings across the body and tail, often with no clean stripe or standard juvenile banding left in the adult pattern.
Jungle does not change basic leopard gecko care. Keepers still focus on secure terrestrial housing, belly-safe heat, hides, calcium, and appropriately sized insects. The practical challenge is identification: a jungle pattern can be subjective, especially when combined with stripe, reverse stripe, or bold line projects. Breeders usually need clear hatchling photos, parent information, and honest labels so buyers understand whether they are purchasing a visual pattern, a known genetic pairing, or a pet-quality gecko with an attractive broken pattern.
