Murphy Patternless
Murphy Patternless is a recessive leopard gecko morph in which most normal body spotting and banding fade as the animal matures. Hatchlings may show a mottled or reticulated pattern, but adults typically become smoother in appearance, often with yellow, gray, or muted tan tones and a cleaner body than wild-type geckos. The morph is separate from Blizzard and from line-bred hypo projects, even though all three can produce animals with reduced visible pattern.
The husbandry is ordinary leopard gecko husbandry: dry terrestrial housing, dependable heat, hiding places, a humid shed area, and a well-managed insect diet. Identification is the part that needs care. Because the adult look can overlap with other reduced-pattern geckos, breeding records and parentage are important when selling Murphy Patternless animals as genetic stock. Pet keepers mainly need an accurate label, while breeders should avoid mixing similar-looking morphs in ways that make future identification harder.
