Radar
Radar leopard geckos are combination morphs usually built from Bell Albino and Eclipse genetics. They are often recognized by albino coloration, reduced dark pigment, and red or ruby-toned eyes associated with the eclipse component, though expression can vary. Because Radar belongs to the Bell albino family, it should not be treated as interchangeable with Tremper-based RAPTOR projects or Rainwater-based Typhoon projects, even when the animals share a similar pale body and red-eye look.
Care follows normal leopard gecko standards, with the added practical note that albino animals may be more reactive to bright light. Many do best with shaded hides, gentle room lighting, and a low-stress feeding routine. Breeding Radar animals calls for clear genetic tracking, especially when working around other albino strains or eclipse lines. Buyers should ask whether the animal is visually identified, parent-proven, or simply sold as a red-eyed albino-type gecko.
