Snow
Snow leopard gecko is a broad color label for geckos with reduced yellow and a cooler white, gray, or black-and-white look. In many collections the term points to Mack Snow, but other snow lines and combination projects may also be described this way. Hatchlings can look especially pale or high contrast, while adults may gain yellow as they mature. Because snow is used both casually and genetically, the exact meaning depends on the animal's line and parentage.
Snow geckos need the same dry, warm, insect-fed husbandry as other leopard geckos. The practical concern is accuracy. A visual snow appearance is not always enough to prove a particular snow line, and pairing decisions can change if the animal is Mack Snow, Super Snow, Gem Snow, or a mixed snow project. Pet owners can enjoy the cooler color without needing a full genetics plan. Breeders should use clear labels, parent information, and hatchling results so later owners know what they are working with.
