Unclassified Morph
Unclassified morph is a practical label for a leopard gecko whose appearance does not fit a confident named morph category. The animal may have partial color or pattern traits, unknown ancestry, or a combination that cannot be sorted from visual inspection alone. It is not a defect or a separate morph. It simply tells readers that the gecko is being described without claiming a genetic identity that has not been established.
This label is useful for rescues, pet listings, and collections where parentage is incomplete. Care remains normal leopard gecko care, including dry housing, stable heat, hides, calcium, and insect feeding. Breeding from an unclassified morph should be done cautiously, because hidden recessive traits may appear later and similar-looking animals can carry different genetics. Clear photos, hatch date if known, and plain notes about source are more valuable than forcing the gecko into a fashionable morph name.
