Orange Domino Roach
Therea regularis
The orange domino roach is a rounded Therea from India maintained in specialist collections. Mature adults have orange spots on black wings, distinguishing them from white-spotted domino roaches. Newly molted adults can have pale spots that turn orange over several days. Colonies use loose organic substrate with a moisture gradient, leaf cover, ventilation and varied food. Females lay egg cases. Adults climb, while the hairy young spend much of their time concealed in the substrate.
