Armenian Tumbler
The Armenian Tumbler is a pigeon associated with Armenian flying and tumbler traditions. It may be kept for tumbling, endurance, color, or local loft style depending on the family of birds. Like many regional tumblers from the Caucasus and surrounding areas, its identity is tied to breeder communities as much as to a single international show description.
Armenian Tumblers need patient training if their performance is to be preserved. Young birds should learn the loft gradually, and flying should be managed around weather, predators, and condition. Breeders should select for safe tumbling, return instinct, wing strength, fertility, and the traits recognized in their source line. If kept abroad, maintaining origin records helps prevent the name from becoming a loose label for any tumbler of similar appearance.
