Bohemian Steller Cropper
The Bohemian Steller Cropper is a Central European cropper breed from the Bohemian fancy pigeon tradition. Like other croppers, it is selected for an inflated crop, upright posture, and showy carriage, but the Steller identity points to a particular local type and standard. Color and marking requirements may vary by club, while the bird should still look balanced, active, and able to display naturally.
Cropper breeds need lofts with enough room for courtship and movement, because cramped quarters can spoil posture and feather condition. Breeders should watch that the crop is expressive without becoming so extreme that breathing, feeding, or mating suffer. Strong legs, fertility, and good parenting are practical traits worth protecting. For rare Bohemian lines, pair records and show-standard notes help keep the breed distinct from other pouters and croppers.
