Czech Trumpeter
The Czech Trumpeter is a trumpeter pigeon from the Czech fancy tradition, selected for voice as well as body and feather type. Trumpeter pigeons are recognized by a rolling or drumlike call that differs from ordinary cooing, and each regional breed may have its own expected sound and presentation. The Czech form belongs among Central European specialty pigeons maintained by dedicated fanciers.
A Czech Trumpeter loft should let birds stay calm enough for their voice and behavior to be evaluated. Good ventilation, dry floors, bathing water, and steady routines are important. Breeders should listen as well as look, pairing birds for call, type, feather quality, fertility, and sound parenting. If the line has muffs or other feather features, extra cleanliness matters. Buyers should ask about voice and standard, not just color.
