Polish Griwuni Tumbler
The Polish Griwuni Tumbler is a Polish tumbler associated with the grivun or griwuni marking vocabulary of Eastern European pigeons. In many descriptions this suggests a largely white bird carrying a distinct colored neck, nape, or mane mark, though exact placement and acceptable colors can vary by club. Beneath the pattern it is still a tumbler, normally expected to be neat, agile, and compact rather than heavy or coarse.
Care is straightforward for experienced pigeon keepers, but the color pattern makes selection more exacting than with self-colored birds. A dry loft helps keep white plumage clean, and separate breeding pens make it easier to test which pairs produce the desired mark. Youngsters intended for flying should be settled and trained gradually, with weather and raptor pressure considered before releases. Breeding choices should not reduce the bird to a patch of color; strong wings, clear eyes, good legs, and steady nesting behavior keep the variety useful and healthy.
