Quet Roller
The Quet roller is a lesser-known roller pigeon, usually discussed as a regional flying breed rather than a standardized show pigeon. Its name is commonly linked with South Asian roller traditions, and it belongs to the domestic pigeon species Columba livia. As with other rollers, the main interest is the bird's aerial performance: kit flying, controlled rolling, and the ability to return reliably to the home loft after exercise.
Good Quet rollers are managed by routine rather than by chance. Youngsters are settled carefully, flown in suitable weather, and evaluated over time before being kept for breeding. Color can be attractive, but it should not outrank orientation, vigor, and a safe, repeatable roll. Loft managers usually avoid breeding from birds that roll too low or lose control, since those traits increase accidents. For buyers, the most useful information is how the parents and siblings fly, not just how the bird looks in the hand.
