Refilador Tumbler
The Refilador Tumbler is a regional tumbler pigeon, generally treated as a performance breed within the domestic pigeon species Columba livia. The name has Spanish or Portuguese flavor and is most often encountered in specialist lists rather than among common exhibition breeds. Like other tumblers, it was developed for movement in the air, with fanciers selecting birds that return to the loft and show the desired tumbling or rolling action while retaining enough stamina for regular flying.
Management should focus on performance, health, and safe training. Young Refilador Tumblers are normally settled before free flight, then worked in small groups so the keeper can judge style and reliability. Birds that tumble too close to the ground or show poor homing ability should not be used just because they are attractive. Because documentation may vary between regions, prospective keepers should speak with breeders who actively fly the strain and clarify what type, color, and aerial action are expected in their local standard.
