Siberian Tumbler
The Siberian tumbler is a Russian regional tumbler name associated with northern or Siberian pigeon breeding traditions. It is usually understood as a domestic pigeon selected for local type and tumbling heritage rather than as a racing homer or purely ornamental color breed. Public descriptions are not as abundant as they are for better-known European show pigeons, so claims about exact color, crest, or flight style should be tied to a particular standard or breeder line.
A practical Siberian tumbler program should keep performance and hardiness in view. Birds from colder regions still need dry, draft-aware housing, but they should not be kept in damp, sealed lofts that damage respiratory health. If the line is flown, young birds need measured training and protection from predators during settling. If it is shown, selection should not discard the compact strength and usable wings that make a tumbler more than a marked pen pigeon.
