Selenocosmia kovariki

Selenocosmia kovariki is a Vietnamese tarantula formerly placed in Selenopelma. Adults are dark brown to black with narrow pale leg rings. It is also sold as Vietnam bicolor, but the scientific name and breeder records are more reliable than a trade label. Species-specific captive information is limited. Seek specialist advice and provide secure, ventilated ground-level housing with deep substrate, a retreat and drinking water. Feed insects and avoid handling. Females lay eggs in silk sacs.
