Kachhi

Kachhi sheep are a Pakistani regional breed associated with Sindh, Balochistan, and the Kachhi plains. They are generally kept in dry lowland or semi-arid systems for meat, household milk, and practical wool. Like many South Asian sheep, they are valued less for strict show uniformity than for survival, reproduction, and saleable animals under local grazing conditions.

Management should account for heat, seasonal feed shortages, and the need to move or supplement animals when pasture declines. Ewes that rear lambs reliably are especially important. Buyers should ask about the flock's exact district, mature size, wool type, milk use, and tail characteristics because regional names can overlap with nearby breeds and crossbred village sheep.

Colors: Badgerface, Black, Blackbelly, Broken, Brown, Gray, Grey, Gulmoget, Katmoget, Moorit, Piebald, Red, Roan, Silver, Solid, Spotted, Tan, White, White with Black Points, White with Brown Points
