Mixed Morph

Mixed Morph

Mixed morph spotted python describes an Antaresia maculosa whose appearance or breeding history involves more than one captive color or pattern trait. Spotted pythons are small Australian pythons, usually tan to brown with darker blotches that break into spots along the body. In captivity, named traits may include albino, caramel, axanthic, blonde, ghost, striped, patternless, platinum, or combinations with hidden hets; mixed morph is a broad label rather than a single genetic result.

The practical issue is documentation. A snake may look simple while carrying recessive genes, so hatch cards, pairing notes, and honest terms are important if it will be bred or sold. Daily care remains ordinary spotted python care: a tight, secure enclosure, a warm hide and cooler side, clean water, and appropriately sized thawed rodents. They are manageable snakes, but nervous juveniles benefit from simple cage furniture and patient handling.

Colors: Albino, Axanthic, Blonde, Caramel, Double Het Albino, Ghost, Het Albino, Normal/Wild Type, Patternless, Platinum, Striped, Super Stripe, T+ Albino, Tiger
