Warty Glowspot Roach
Lucihormetica verrucosa
The warty glowspot roach is a burrowing Lucihormetica kept by specialist breeders. Males have paired pale spots on the head shield, while females lack those prominent markings. Young roaches have different, fiery thoracic patterns. Captive colonies use warm conditions, moist organic substrate, ventilation and varied food, and may create small connected retreats below the surface. Females retain their egg cases and release live young. The glowspot name does not imply that captive animals emit light.
