Enchi
An enchi ball python is an incomplete dominant morph that tends to warm the color, reduce busy side pattern, and create cleaner banding across the body. Many single-gene enchis show golden or orange tones with a more open pattern than a normal ball python. The gene is widely used in combinations because it can organize pattern without overwhelming other traits, making it useful with clown, pied, pastel, banana, leopard, and dark genes.
Enchi animals need routine ball python care: reliable heat gradient, appropriate humidity, snug hides, and a calm feeding environment. For breeders, the practical value of enchi is how it refines other morphs, so photos of the whole animal are more informative than a head shot alone. It can be subtle in some combinations, and hatchlings may change as they grow. Buyers should ask what other genes are present and whether the seller has parent pairing details.
