Spotnose
Spotnose is an incomplete dominant ball python morph known more for pattern changes than dramatic color. Single-gene animals often have a slightly pinched or highlighted muzzle, an altered head stamp, reduced alien-head markings, darker outlines, and cleaner lower sides than a typical wild type. Expression varies enough that a lightly marked Spotnose can be mistaken for normal, especially in shed or low light. In combinations, it can sharpen pattern and is familiar in clown-line projects such as leopard spotnose clown, often called Batman by keepers.
Care matches other captive-bred ball pythons: stable heat, secure hides, moderate humidity, and prey matched to size. Visual identification should be backed by clutch results or breeder history because subtle examples and multi-gene animals can be hard to sort. Some complex pairings involving Spotnose are discussed cautiously by keepers, especially when several head-pattern genes are stacked, so individual behavior and feeding matter more than the label alone. Buyers should look for good body condition and confident identification.
