Dagu
Dagu is a Chinese chicken breed or local type most often described as a native dual-purpose bird from northern China. It is generally presented as a larger village chicken, kept for meat and eggs rather than for a narrow ornamental trait. As with many regional Chinese breeds, the name is tied to place and local breeding history, so outside flocks may show some variation in color, body depth, and production level.
